On 17th November 2023, Her Excellency Gladys Neven Lundwe, was Accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zambia to the Republic of Latvia (none resident) after she presented her Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Edgars Rinkēvičs , President of the Republic of Latvia.
The Presentation Ceremony took place at the Presidential Castle after which President Edgars Rinkēvičs held a brief discussion with Ambassador Lundwe together with other Ambassadors who were Presenting Credentials on the same day.
Following the Accreditation Ceremony, Ambassador Lundwe assumed official authority to commence her tour of duty in the Republic of Latvia.
The Ambassador is yet to Present her Credentials in the remaining six (6) countries of her Extra Accreditation.
